tModLoader (TML) is an open-source, community-driven modification and expansion of the Terraria game that makes it possible to make and play mods. TML expands your Terraria adventures with new content to explore created by the Terraria community! TML allows players to create and play Terraria mods and is designed in such a way so that you can play alone or together with friends - with one mod or with multiple, choose to play however you like!

NOTE: It is required that all your friends also install TML if you want to play together; it is not possible for vanilla users to play with TML users.

• You do not have to make any backups
  
• Simply update Terraria to 1.4 and install tModLoader on Steam
  
• You can play vanilla Terraria and TML alongside each other; tModLoader through Steam is treated as a separate game.

How will this affect me? Will my mods still work when Terraria 1.4 is released?
Because this update brought many changes to tModLoader, a lot of mods if not all will be broken. Even though we've given modders time to update their mods, it is likely some mods will never be updated to this version. So please keep in mind you may not be able to use all mods you were able to in 1.3

Does this mean tModLoader has updated to 1.4?
tModLoader on Steam supports Terraria 1.3.5 and Terraria 1.4.

What about Steam workshop support?
Steam Workshop is supported.

우선 모드를 실행 시키려면 일종의 실행기인 tmodloader가 필요합니다.

스크롤 내리다보시면 다음과 같은 화면이 뜨는데

이 중 Windows 라고 하늘색으로 적힌걸 누르면 다운이 됩니다.

다운 받은 후, 압축을 어디다 풀어야 되냐는 것인데.

우선 스팀에서 테라리아를 우클릭 누르면 나오는 속성을 누르고

'로컬 파일' 항목에 있는 '로컬 콘텐츠 폴더 보기'를 누르시면됩니다.

이곳에 다운받은 모드로더를 압축 풀어 덮어 씌우면 된다만

이전에 할 일이 있습니다.

기존 바닐라 테라리아를 되돌리려고 한다면 

무결성검사나 게임을 지웠다 다시 깔아야한다는 번거로움이 있기때문이죠.

그걸 쉽게 해결 할 방법이 Terraria.exe 실행파일만 따로 분류하는겁니다.

기존 바닐라 실행파일을 압축해서 보관하고

모드로더를 덮어씌운 후에도 실행파일을 압축해서 보관합니다.

이러면 바닐라와 모드로더를 손쉽게 변경 할 수 있습니다.

여기까지 하셨다면 우선 게임을 실행 시켜주세요.

다음과 같이 나온다면 모드로더 적용 성공입니다.

여기서 문제가 생기는데

보통 모드는 ModBrowser 항목에서 다운이 가능하지만

칼라미티는 용량이 크기때문에 모드로더에 등록이 안되있습니다.

그래서 별도로 다운받아야하죠.

다음 사진에 표시된 걸 누르면 다운 할 수 있습니다.

다운 된 모드는 압축을 해제하고 다음 경로에 넣으시면 됩니다.

이제 모드를 적용 시켜봅시다.

Mod Browser 항목에서는 모드를 다운 받을 수 있고

Mods 에서는 다운받은 모드를 적용 시킬 수 있습니다.

Mod Browser에서 붉은 네모칸 친곳을 누르면 모드 검색이 가능합니다.

Mods에서 Enabled로 바꾼 뒤, Reload Mods를 누르면 모드가 적용됩니다.

여기까지 하셨다면 이제 캐릭터를 생성하시면 됩니다.

만약 모드를 적용시키기전에 캐릭터를 생성하셨다면 그건 모드가 적용 안된 캐릭터이기때문에

삭제하고 다시 만드셔야합니다.

월드도 마찬가지입니다.
